Requirements for Key Programming:

• Original Key Compatibility:

  • Unlocked, Uninitialized (with ID): Can be used directly to generate and program a new key.

  • Unlocked, Uninitialized (no ID): ID can be rewritten once.

  • Unlocked, Initialized: Can be reverted to uninitialized state with anti-theft data calculation.

  • Locked, Initialized: Cannot be unlocked.

• VVDI Dedicated MLB Key: Coming soon for enhanced compatibility.

Software & Binding:

• MLB-Tool Binding:
  Required to bind with the Xhorse App. Navigate to Special Function → Bind Device, then scan the QR code to bind.

• Software Use:

  • With VVDI2: Requires MLB PC software.

  • With VVDI Key Tool Plus (KTP): Connect the MLB Tool via the OTG adapter to perform key data collection, dealer key generation, and learning—all within the KTP device.

Wiring Instructions:

• Wiring Diagram (Type 1–6):
  No need to remove the chip, but two 100nF capacitors must be removed. Solder cables according to the color-coded diagram provided.
