Introduction to OEM PIWIS3 Diagnostic System

The OEM PIWIS3 is an advanced diagnostic system designed for fault detection, control unit coding, and programming in Porsche vehicles. It offers complete diagnostic capabilities for all Porsche models, with the ability to read multiple control units simultaneously, streamlining the entire diagnostic process.

Control units (ECUs) can be coded automatically, individually, or using a control table. The system also automatically records the vehicle status (VAL Protocol – Vehicle Analysis Log) during use, maintenance, and post-maintenance procedures.

The VNCI device integrated into the system supports:

• DC and AC voltage measurement

• DC and AC measurement

• Diode testing and resistance measurement

• Open/short circuit tests

• Real-time tracking of voltage, current, and resistance changes

• Oscilloscope functionality

The software features an enhanced Troubleshooting Guide that simplifies diagnostics by clearly displaying fault codes, initiation procedures, and potential fault causes.
